This delicious, melt in your mouth apple cake is very different from an apple pie and so much easier to make. Use whatever favorite apples you like, no hard work required and comes together super fast! We usually make an apple pie for Thanksgiving but with so much prep work already required, we decided to switch things up last year and try an apple cake instead. It's a perfect fall / holiday recipe!

Ingredients:
◾️3/4 cup granulated sugar
◾️3 eggs
◾️6 tbsp unsalted butter, room temp
◾️3/4 c milk
◾️1 tsp vanilla
◾️pinch of salt
◾️1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
◾️1.5 tsp baking powder
◾️3 medium apples, peeled and sliced thinly
◾️1 tsp cinnamon – optional
◾️1 tbsp powdered sugar for top
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 min or until toothpick comes out clean
